Summary

As a Traffic Manager you will be required to assist the Traffic Director to coordinate the workflow on all projects and ensure that adequate resources are directed and managed to meet and exceed deadlines.


Key Responsibilities

  • To coordinate workflow on all projects from brief through to creative, production implementation and final development
  • To schedule deadlines for the completion of projects and assign team members to each necessary step in the process
  • To liaise with all departments to ensure the efficient and effective communication of workflow
  • To manage administrative systems to help track time, costs and progress on each project
  • To report on data filtered from administrative systems on a weekly, monthly and annual basis or as needed by the business relevant to the Production Department
  • To ensure all review and sign-off procedures are followed
  • To update work plans and resourcing schedules
  • To ensure all deadlines and highest quality standards are met
  • To assist Traffic Director in maintaining efficiency of systems and processes
  • To support Production and Education teams through problem solving with issues pertaining to their projects 


Basic Requirements

  • Minimum of 4-5 years experience in a Traffic related position
  • Agency experience would be highly advantageous
  • Experience in managing an administrative / time tracking system highly advantageous
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written communication
  • Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for identifying and solving problems
  • Strong focus on logistics (for scheduling and resourcing)

  • Budget Parameters: Projects are budgeted carefully according to various factors, including hours spent editing or writing a project and therefore the Traffic Manager needs to understand all project timelines and expected delivery dates to ensure they plan for resourcing to fall within those budgets.
  • A firm approach to managing that ensures team members adhere to their time allocations and specific deliverables
  • A passionate problem solver who is confident, self motivated and a perfectionist
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment, on complex and multiple assignments and get things done quickly and efficiently
  • A very high level of resilience and the ability to perform consistently under pressure
  • Exceptional attention to detail – a highly organised human
