Summary

An experienced Junior Account Manager with a solid track record with business to business sales. Possessing a strong commercial acumen and having a proven track record in closing deals in person and over the telephone. Having an in depth understanding the importance of customer service and new business selling techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business development with a clear focus on generating new leads and revenue
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of Lobster Ink according to customer's needs and objectives
  • Travel on support visits to existing clients and also prospective clients
  • Understand the needs and demands of clients and new business
  • Identify and grow opportunities within regional territory
  • Interact with Salesforce on a daily basis with account updates and revenue projection
  • Lead generation through telesales and online research
  • Reach regional target as set by Regional Director
  • Report to Regional Director of Sales 


Qualifications 

  • Undergraduate qualification or the equivalent
  • Proven Account Management or other relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation, listening and negotiation skills
  • A great ability to work on multiple projects while maintaining focus and attention to detail
  • Confident, well presented and with a persuasive nature
  • In-depth understanding of reporting


Skills and Knowledge

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word and/or MAC software applications is preferable
  • Computer literacy in order to operate multiple customer related information systems e.g. experience in Salesforce is highly advantageous
  • Ability to generate actionable, insightful, proactive content gathered from understanding internal and client’s challenges
  • Understanding of the hospitality industry is beneficial but not essential
  • Good listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal and relational skills
  • Eager to learn and share knowledge
  • Collaborative and builds mutually beneficial relationships and partnerships
  • Proactive individual with proven strength in attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage several tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining quality
  • Ability to engage with clients professionally
  • Able to give and receive direction and constructive criticism well
  • Organised and structured; copes well under pressure, with the ability to meet and beat given targets and deadlines
  • Displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to all their work
